quick question, what if i wanted my rear panel repainted, what kind of bodywork has to be done besides painting, does it have to be removed or can it be removed?

Are you referring to the rear hatch garnish right above the license plate? If you are, just pm FLEA and he can give you the best info on it.

rear quarter panels are not usually removed... usually cut out and new ones may be welded in... if the damage (if any) is not that bad, dents can be pulled out and the bodywork can be fixed prior to repainting.

Your best bet is to blend everything together. If you remove the piece that needs painting and paint that only....it's going to look obvious and stand out.

Winston, call my cell ASAP. (949)295-6029

this could get a little expensive... just letting you know. Without removing anything (since the whole rear panel extends to the front too) they have to basically paint a huge section or the whole thing. cuz you can't just sand a small section, paint it and have it line up with the rest of the paint. it'd be horribly obvious. you need a nice smooth whole piece.

see what you can do.

dents aren't that hard.

good luck buddy.
