brake calipers paint or covers?
i want my calipers to be red... the paint kits are cheaper, but then i actually gotta paint them, and have it look good, whereas the covers i just have to put on and be done,...
to those with colored covers, how did you do it?

If you have another mode of transportation for a day or two, I'd recommend getting them powdercoated. No matter how well you paint them, powdercoat almost always looks better/higher quality.
Sure:

He also has powdercoated and carbon fiber finished. Just look around. I've done bus w/him. Nice guy and very high quality product.

i just painted mine red today....took about 4 hours.
If you have another car to drive i suggest having them powder coated as well. Me and my dad just had the frame powder coated for the 77 Vette.....looks beautiful
but if your dont have that option then my opinion just go ahead and paint em....it aint hard....the cleaning is just time comsuming

Depending on how tight money is, I would personally buy brembo / wilwood calipers (if they're even available). Nest step down would be to powdercoat. I would advise against painting them because it looks... cheap and fake, or at least will after a few months.
