Default Broken Driver's Side Seat HELP

Alright I have a broken driver's side seat as the topic states, and it basically just doesn't stay in place do to the clip that holds it being broken and no longer attached. Does anybody know if there is a way to fix this, I already tried the salvage yards within about 50 miles of where I am, Washington D.C., so I would prefer not having to buy aftermarket seats :/

are you sure it is completely broken? what part of it is broken? i had this problem briefly one time where the seat back wouldn't lock into place, i fixed it by just moving it either all the way forward or backwards and it went back into place.

also, if you have side airbags in your seat, aftermarket seats are not an option since your airbags won't work without all the airbags and sensors present.

I am quite sure the seat is broken, there is a clip on the bottom of the seat feels like it is aluminum and it was attached to the seat, I now have that part in the glove box of my car. I will try to get a pic of it posted here shortly.
