so as some of you may heard, there was a blizzard yeseterday in western new york

pretty much 2 feet of snow came down which breaks like a 137 year record of early snow fall.

so, most of the power is out in this part of ny, including me =(. So i am writing from my friend's dorm on my school's campus, which fortunetly has HEAT and ELECTRICTY

anyways, as soon as i find my camera is my really pitch dark apartment, i cant take pictures of the accident my tC has gotten into =(

heres the story of my accident though:

i was driving down a single lane road (while it was still snowing), some POS 1990 was in front of me. I come to a point where this single lane road turns into 2 lanes, a regular lane and a left turn lane. So i signal to go onto the left lane. This is when i suddenly see this POS volks trying to make a left without signalling, so i hit my brakes.... and guess what ABS kicks in.... so now i cant really stop..... i swerve to avoid him on the left (since there was no room on the right unless i smash into that lovely tree). I swerve onto the opposite lane, and i spot an oncoming car. I slip in between the cars and the volks side scrapes my tC from the rear right fender through the door all the way to the front right fender.

Now... I really feel as if this is his fault, but i know insurance will say otherwise =T.

But now i am beginning to believe this car is cursed. Though this is my first accident, my car was been hit and dented numerous times without me being there =T.

This damage is basically a sharp bent line stretching from the whole right side of the car excluding the bumpers. How much would this run me =T. I am thinking of replacing my rear bumper while I am at it. It was hit and run earlier this month (big crater in left side of bumper).

 

oh and to add to the blizzard, there was fallen trees everywhere and a driving ban going around, atleast my car wont be hit by stupid drivers

 

yeah it was snowing like crazy here in michigan yesturday as well. I wasnt as bad ___ yours though

Iamblahhh-how far away are you from rochester? I think you are like, 1 hr away right?Cause we got snow last night, didn't stick to the ground really.. just stuck to the cars. I hope rochester isn't getting that storm...
Sorry to hear about your car ... it could have been a LOT worse though.

i heard about the driving ban, my girl told me that cause she was planning on headin gback today. There was even closures on the i90. thank goodness for her awd rav 4 lol. Good luck to you with the damage!

 

i was ____ed when i saw there was snow even sticking to my car this early in the year, then i heard about buffalo. Thats crazy man good luck with the car.

when i was leaving friday i saw hundreds of those utility trucks going towards buffalo on I 90. they were coming from syracuse and albany and even coming from MA!

 

Yeah its been wet, and a little cold already here in TX in OCT. Normally when it gets cold in Oct. here early we have a big winter. Atleast thats how it has been over the last 20 years here... I think we are in for a big one soon... like back in 85 i believe...

so... now im updating from a school computer... (late studying), well my landlord told me that i wont get power till this weekend... this is ridiculous........ across the street from me has power but not us. I called the national grid and they told us that apparently we are on a different power grid than the people across from us

so, since our library opened up again, maybe ill just sleep here tonight. anyways! ill put those pictures up as soon as i can (whenever that is)

 

Yea i live in lockport..it was ____ing crazy over here, a guy died cuz a tree fell on him, power lines and car crashes everywhere...buffalo looked like an atomic bomb hit him.
