Default Bumper clamps

I'm going to be shaving the tabs off my front and rear fenders but i would need something to support my bumper up.. I was just wondering if anyone knew where i can find some clamps (similar to hood pins) except for my bumper/fender.. I think it's kind of common on racecars or something.. not sure..

tia,

Hmmm..not too sure.

I was kind of thinking...

You know the pins that hold the rods into a hydraulic jack?

I would go w/ this:

If they are too tall you could even cut them smaller.

to hold on bumpers use this

http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pro....asp?RecID=779

they pop rivit on and area easy to install, once you do though you are stuck with holes int he body panels, very spendy to fix and paint if you decide to sell car,so think about it and is this car the one you plan on having for a long time.

I would take your pick between these two:

http://www.hrpworld.com/index.cfm?tpc=Body_Latches_-_Protex_CatchBolt_(Flat)&form_prod_id=739,587_727&action=product

and

like BZinn1 suggested:

http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pro....asp?RecID=779

Either choice looks as though it is of high quality.

I wouldn't; however, go with the body pins. I think they look cheap and are not as aesthetically pleasing/sexy as the latches.

lol the thing about these is that if i scrape, i don't want the bumper to pop off and me not know.. the latch won't be a support for other clips, it will be the main support by itself along with the clips that go under the hood.. nothing else..

thanks for the input though guys! lets keep them coming!

the sites given above don't really show how durable they are or if they're the main support of the bumper..
