Default Can someone help me with my window tint problem?

Hello,

I'm really new here, as this is my first post and I'm totally new to the forum deal so please don't "flame" me. I recently tinted my windows on Tuesday. I asked for 20% and I guess since the TCs come with a stock tint or something the tint is actually dark than the 20, it's about 15%.

I then get pulled over on Friday in the hood, where ever other person tint is like 5% and the mot racist, idiot cop pulls me over and acts like I'm a criminal or something. Mind you, I'm 4'7 and Asian. The cop was a total douche bag. Anyways, I was thinking I just go to court and show them my innvoice from the tinting company that states they've removed my tint and I just go on with my life.

Or, I can just pay the 160 through a check and send it to the court or whatever.

If I did go to court and showed them my invoice from the tinting place does that work? Or, do I have to go to the DMV and get their offical papers or what not? Because I didn't remove the tint, the tinting place just gave me an invoice to help me out. By the way, I live in North Carolina. So, if anyone can help thanks!

Sorry for the story of my life long post.

Default court

just go to court and show them the invoice. That works here in Illinois. 9 times out of 10 the judge will just throw it out (if hes nice).

Thanks! When I do go and probably get it dropped do I still have to pay off the ticket and court costs? My friend said he paid then got the money back in the mail. Ah, stupid reason for a ticket.
