Look cool. Also creates a small downforce on the front of the car stabilizing the front wheels(front wheel drive).

Or at least that's my thoughts.

their supposed to direct air to cool of the brakes, work better at high speeds with cars that have large disc brakes

Why do they angle UP and OUTSIDE the front of the car? Wouldn't it be better to put vents in the front bumper to send air across the brakes?

look at the pic-theyre angled towards the front wheel, to direct air in that direction through the spokes

On a car like a Scion, I don't think they have a point, other than to look cool. Nish's canards are awesome, and they're a subtle mod that add a lot to the looks in my opinion. I dig 'em.

Have you ever seen the front of a tC, it's rather wide, and the wheels/tires tuck in from the side. And the brakes are behind the wheels. Those will do nothing to direct air onto the brakes. It's hard to think that they will direct air onto the brakes any better than the air flowing past the front of the car freely. They don't direct air into the wheel well to cool the brakes, they direct air in the same fashion as air is already directed.

I knew I wasn't crazy when I thought it was for downforce.

Follow the link I posted. 2 Pages over them.

Anyways, Call Gary Nish to place your order....actually, following the link I posted will let you know that he is probably the one that needs to install them too b/c of the tools required.
