ok so i just bought a 2010 in SW. am starting to mod it and am looking at lip kits first. im lowered on trd's, which arent too low but dont really want to have to worry about scraping with a lip kit everywhere i go. anyone have recommendations on which kit would be the best for a scrape-free car?

Oem lip kit all the way. Looks good in my opinion.

 

OEM all they way. Just hate how expensive they are though.

 

You can buy an OEM style lip kit in carbon fiber on ebay for like $600 + shipping and I mean OEM style not the RS1 lip kits

 

IMO, SW looks really nice with OEM lip kit. 5 axis is nice too. besides these too, don't go with others lol, just my 2 cents

 

5axis kit looks like trash on a SW. the oem lip can take more of a beating too.

 

this is how it is for me in order of good looking lip kits:

1 - OEM
2 - 5axis
3 - PU front lip
4 - RS1
5 - RS2
6 - other

 

Definitely go with the oem, because if you ever do happen to mess up the lip it's cheaper to replace than the 5axis. Both are nice though.

 

How did you find that? Couldn't find it on ebay.

 

You won't scrape a lip kit with TRD...if you come up to a steep ___ driveway just go slow and at an angle *giggity*

but seriously, just get the lip kit you think looks better

 

i would definitely go with the 5 axis i love the way it looks but im wondering how much does the 5 axis lower the car?

 

It lowers the rear significantly on the sides. The front and side skirts are pretty close to OEM. Why don't you look into piecing together different options. I don't like how high the OEM (and most) rear lips sit, so I went with just the 5Axis rear.
