Default Wiring help.

ok well i bought ebay fogs and im a bit confused about the wiring. ok so i have everything connected from the fogs to the relay to the battery. it is the on and off switch wiring that i am having problem with. I provided a pic below.

everything is connected but i have no idea where to run this red wire...i tried to run it stright from the battery itself but it seems unsafe, plus the light on the switch is on even when my car is off. my friend said to connect it to the headlight wire.. can someone show me where that is? thanks.

I've got two positive (Red) wires that go to my positive terminal on my battery for my fog lights. I grounded the negative to the chassis instead of the negative pole on the battery. I don't have an OEM rocker switch, but my switch lights up red even when the car is off. Green when the lights are on. Not sure with your lights, but with your specified wiring harness, your led indicator light might just stay on as well..

Your light stays on because its directly connected to the battery terminal. Anything directly connected to the positive terminal will always have power (thus light on) and will also drain your battery over time.

OP, its not in anyway unsafe to connect something to your battery.

^ I know this. Electrical engineers run in the family.
For the life of me I do not know what that wire could go to. Other than to the positive terminal along with the other one. Plug and play also means there are only so many places that wire could possibly connect to. Way less places.

EDIT : Or....
