No, the snow would not break the lip. It's pretty sturdy actually. No, what you would have to worry about is the bumper itself. The mounting of the lip to the bumper. If you were to hit your lip on the snow, it would wear into your bumper. You are more likely to rip the holes from the scew mounts on the corners than to break your liip. No more screw holes, no more way to attach your lip to the bumper.
Trust me, I know. We broke the lip in the pictures. It's not on the car right now. We broke it trying to get the car up on one of those Uhaul trailers. Long story short, it hit the ramp part hard enough to snap in two, and it rip the holes I had drilled on the sides for the bolts.
We have a brand new bumper on their now, and need to purchase another lip.

We don't have CF side skirts. They never produced a 1 piece rear lip in CF (they have the 1 piece rear in ABS, but not in CF), so we never bought the side skirts. They make the rear in a 2 piece configuration, but we didn't like that. So, I decided that it would look good with just the front lip and nothing else. Going to have a CF wing to offset the side profile view though.
^^Yep, first person to have CF fenders on SL....hehee..
They are not perfect either, as the car was involved in a fender bender before I installed the fenders. A lot of work went into it just to get them to even be presentable. I still have to see about getting an upper cross support to help square everything off, then it will tie in all the small flaws. I am a bit of a perfectionist, but when people see the car, they don't notice the flaws, and just compliment us on have a nice car to boot around in. That keeps me happy for the moment, and having those parts overshadow any particular flaw you can pick out...lol

True true. I saw the little space, but it's not horrible. Just like the one on the lip. Not horrible and I didn't mean to make a big deal about it. The overall CF look is great on the BSP tC. I like it on the FM also. Seems to work good with the extreme colors (very dark and very light (white)). Nice overall.

thanks. I got some new goodies coming in for it.
by way of our now partial sponsor Corbeau Racing

had to do a lot of persuading with my better half to get the lighter weight NON-reclineable ones. she has the say so since she drives it everyday....lol. But I made a deal so I could put in the fixed back seats.

I have the RS1 CF lip kit, and the side skirts.
When installing, we just put in some of that plastic whether stripping stuff that clips to the edge of the CF lip kit and fills the gaps. The side skirt gap was bigger (between the inner door edge and the lip) so we filled that gap with the foam weather stripping that you stick on.
I'll post pics later from home if anyone still wants to see them, so you can see (at work right now, and didn't see until now how old this thread is either!)
We did this last year, and it is my daily driver. The winter wasn't too harsh on it. I did leave it at home whenever the snow got very deep though...I didn't wanna plow snow ya' know?
