Got a Seibon Carbon fiber hood Oem Style with no drilled holes for winshield nozzles.
but who really needs those

just clean your own windows.

My main question is. Is it hard to put on yourself. or is it do able with help from a friend

 

I can't imagine trying to get a hood on by myself. It's easy with another person though.

it is better to have helping hands to hold the hood during install.

 

with another person to help its quite easy

 

help from another person will save you any accidents and won't mess it up

 

took me and someone else about 2 hours to do it with drilling..you have to have another to make sure it is alligned...Just make sure u dont go to far when drilling..

I haven't put a carbon fiber hood on a car but it's gotta be the same as changing any other hood. It's not a difficult thing to do but it's not easy to do alone as everyone's said.

 

have someone that can lift 15lbs to hold it above the engine where you need it, and finger tighten the four bolts. i did it with my gf at first but she was letting the points of the hood rest on the paint, so keep your eye on your helper.

 

I did it myself alone, with one hand I grabbed the hood, with the other I used a wrench to pu it.. what kind of question is this...

You can do it by yourself, But if u have another person helping you it will make it a lot easier to get the hood on straight and wat not...
and it will also take alot less time.
