I think that is too much money, Anyone know anywhere else to get the bBist cf hood cheaper?

i was thinking about getting a cf hood, and hatch, now after looking at all these pictures it has made up my mind for me. i gotta start saving again.

actually, it's not really one of a kind. I wouldn't be surprised it he got it from MotorFX or the same people that make MotorFX's hoods. MotorFX and bbist are local friends

 

I got the hood from Steve. He told me himself that he made two hoods from carbon kevlar, a red set and a blue set. The blue set is on greddy's tc. Here's the red set. I'm not sure what other manufacturers produce carbon kelvar products for the tc. Would be nice but production is more work than carbon fiber.

 

yes.. Steve and Coi are buddies, but they do have them manufactered at two totally seperate places.

Coi does offer colored hoods at a higher price, but i do believe that that bBist hood is truly one of a kind.

I got mine from CustomCarbons.com for about $ 415 shipped. It came with rolled edges.. and fiberglass under-skeleton. I drilled my own squirter holes and took the old hood foam from my stock hood and mounted it to the carbon fiber one. I personally like my hood and have no complaints. just my 2 cents.

 

is it better to have grade AA or grade A cf

 

I have a FM tc like RAAM and think the CF clashes with the FM color. I was planing on Kaminari fibergalss instead. My 2 cents.
