yea thats normal. u see the bumper behind the holes b/c of the angle of the pic. thats why i hate the rs1 front lip

I dont know about that... Ive never seen it like that in any other front lips.. I dont think thats an rs1 front lip either

ok another question. can a Rs1 lip kit be wrapped in a CF vinyl? I saw a Supra that did that at a show one time.. I dont even know if it would be worth it

the "vent" is well below the bumper.

 

it's the same exact lip.. it's just the angle of those pictures.

 

i have an oem lip on my fm right now but was lookin to get the rs1 lip. but i know that there are holes cut into the stock bumper to mount the rear oem lip kit. does anyone know if the front is the same?

 

I have that lip, it looks like it needs to be a bit lower.

 

Yea I have the lip too and in that picture it's mounted like 3 inches too high, when you mount yours if you get one put 3m double sided tape on the middle section (under the grill part) and then line it up, and stick it on but let it rest on where it's molded to.

It's supposed to sit ON the bumper with only tape between.. that lip was mounted with two tennis ***** sitting between the bumper and lip from the looks of it.

 

If the lip was installed by the dealer, and they followed the installation instructions (which I would assume they did), then yes - front bumper gets 6 slots cut into it. Link to the instructions below.
