Default cf hatch

i have been interested in getting the cf hatch from bbist. but i had heard that there is a problem with the cylinder that holds it up. since the cf hatch is a lot lighter, it kinda shoots it up. has anyone came up with a way to get around this problem.... other then holding open the hatch every time i want to get in it?
