it would be like the hood. you just kind of attach them. ill have pics of it when i get it back, prolly around like 5 on monday cuz i need to wait for my dad so we can pick up the old hatch also. w/o the shocks itll open, but you have to hold it up.

its really common sense, what I meant by "no open" meaning it wont lift on its own. It would make no sense how no shocks = an unopenable hatch...

if you want those NRG shocks, i might be able to get them for you cheaper than $130 but there not meant to be used for the hatch. i've also read around about NASA shocks working fine with the CF hatch, i will ask friend who got rid of his tC with the cf hatch to know what he used.
