I am checking this out for a fellow se-detroit club member. She got taken by a shady shop here in MI. Anyone here in MI probably knows who it is.

Anyways she orderes a VIS CF hood for her TC

She oredered it begining of Jan and they said should be here in Feb. Got the run around for an extra 2 weeks.

When she went to get it installed and asked if it was a VIS hood they said no. Could not get the VIS hood she ordered instead it was a JT Auto hood that comes from VIS. I can not find any information about a JT Auto hood so I called the shop as a good researcher would. They said the VIS hood taked forever to get and recommended the AIT racing CF hood. I am trying to find out informaiton about the AIT OEM style CF hood without the scoop and can not find it anywhere.

The other issues is it apears they compromised the weave installing the hood latch and made huge holes (reinforced areas) for the nozzles. Here are some photos.









in that circle.. it looks and feels like it broke.. also the nuts where the two arrows are.. its not held by anything.. the only thing thats holding the latch to the hood is those three other nuts


I wanted to know more about what people thought of this install and if anyone has a link to the product info on the AIT racing OEM hood she has instaled. I need to call the shop tomorrow so I can get things sorted out for her. She is going to be in our group booth at Autorama so we need her TC looking top notch not hack job city.

Photos of other TC CF hood underside would help. Also comments on this install.
