i got a screaming deal on a cf hood for my tc. Put it on and the sides + front seem ok, but at the hinges it sits high on the drivers side, on the passenger side too, just not as much.

is there a way to lower it more?

 

That's how most CF hoods are

 

^no. there not. some have better fitment then others.

did you buy it used? what brand is it? are there any washers possibly in the hinges? some people actually like that look lol

 

You could use washers on the lower side to even it out, but you might not be able to lower it more without making custom brackets.

 

@ gm_113: i did buy it used, looks like it is a TCSportline hood, no washers on the stock hinges.

@ carben100: that is what i might have to do, i dont think i would have too much of a problem with them being like this aslong as they are even on both sides

 

I think some people actually raise their hood.. kinda air flow thing.. add a few more washers and make it a little higher.. JDM yo! ha.. if thats your thing..

 

ummm...no its not. my seibon fits as perfectly as the oem hood
