Where is a good place to get these from? Who has them and is the quality good? I want to change the motor up alittle and I think that would do it for me.
namotorsports.net has a good price on them last I knew. I think they were $100 + shipping? That's where I got my g/f's. Very nice quality too... it was just gorgeous when I opened it up. Debated keeping it.
EDIT: wait... maybe it was racingsolution?

if you have a certain color scheme going on, maybe think about painting the engine cover and the fuse box lid to that color? heck, even switching the colors on the stock cover would look color (i mean have the vvt-i and the 16 valve be black and the rest of the cover be silver).

I used a plastic paint. I know alot of people are just using automotive paint on them. I did a couple layers of primer, then couple layers of paint, then a couple layers of clear. It turned out nice. I am just ready for a new change.
I used high heat paint on my cover. Theres no need to use primer on something like this. Just a few coats of high heat paint, and then a few coats of high heat clear coat.
