Yes the glass is attached with double sided tape but good luck getting that off because it's on there good. The dealer sells the whole unit. It is all one piece. The frame and the glass. It's almost impossible to get it off without breaking the glass. My deflector broke and i couldn't get the left over glass off even after that.

also talk to them about making a CF fuel door
I've seen one of these before... someone got it from eBay. It was a full fuel door, not even an overlay. But that was the only time I've seen on. I think there was a thread on it...

Stand by...

As far as that process goes, the shop is doing it for me, so I'm not 100% sure what they need to do, but in my past experience working with Body molding, emblems/decals and such, all it ever took to remove molding tape, even 3M VHB grade tape, was a little heat from a blow dryer. I'll check on that for you though, and see what the process entails.

Good info Ack154, I'll make sure to pass the thread along.

Quick update from RG Mobile regarding some of the questions that I wasn't able to answer

"The Material used is 5.7oz Twill '1st Quality' Carbon Fiber Fabric, UV rated Automotive Gel Coat, There will not be any fiberglass, just 100% carbon Fiber we do not sell cheap products.

Yes the edges will be rolled "

If anyone has any other questions, please feel free to ask

Count me in. I'd love to get my hands on a c/f deflector and fuel door. Maybe suggest a subtle c/f lip kit. The one I saw didn't seem the fit the lines of the car too well. PM me with any info if you can.

I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBS WITH ROCK CHIPS ON MINE. MAYBE BECAUSE I DON'T DRIVE ON THE HIGHWAY WITH MY ROOF ALL THE WAY OPEN!!!. ANYWAYS I WOULD GET 1 TO WASTE SOME MONEY. ALL I WOULD DO IS PAINT IT BLACK WITH CLEAR COATS TO MAKE IT LOOK STOCK AGAIN. CF MEANS NOTHING TO ME UNLESS ITS COVERING 85% OF MY CAR. THE OTHER 15% WOULD B ILLEGAL
