RS1. I think it runs about $400 new, plus paint obviously. You could probably find one cheaper in the classifieds here on SL. The JP Vizage and the 5Axis are a little more. The OEM lip kit is pretty pricey, being Toyota.

Do you have any write ups anywhere or pictures of what people have done with a good piece of weather stripping from the Home Depo

Please don't do the home depot lip...it looks tacky/ghetto/retarded/etc....

Honestly the best bang for your buck is going to be OEM..I'm still amazed people consider a fully painted, perfect fitting lip kit for just under $1k expensive.

The full rs1 kit painted probably costs somewhere in that same ballpark I would imagine (if not more)

hahaha. I wish. that'd be amazing. your best bet is the classifieds. you may be able to find a used one already painted in your color for like 400,500 for the whole kit

and trying to sold for more than the 12 bucks its worth!

Then just wait until someone on the forums sells there kit for dirt cheap or just be patient and save up more money. IDK what full lipkit you're going to find for $200 including paint..even if you paint and install yourself.

And that Ebay link you posted is just the ghetto home depot lip. Save up and do it right the first time. What's the huge hurry? I'm not rich either just patient and willing to save up the $$ to get something I know I will like and be happy with.

I'm just making conversation. I don't care if I get a lip kit or not. I'm just exploring different opportunities.

Or I'm an impulsive buyer.

Either way, I'm not looking to blow 1k on a lip kit.

It would be for my DD, which is my tC. I just painted the wheels, and I want to do the OEM Side skirts as well, but Id rather have a lip kit painted to match as well.

Thanks

My tC is my DD (not to mention my only car) as well so what does that have to do with getting a lip kit?

If you really want to know, you can PM me. Other wise you have not added anything but your opinion to this thread.

Well here is the proper solution.........goto your local area on Scion Life and get to know the people in your local area........in time someone there is going to take their lip kit or body kit off and move on to a new one,and there you go........just be Johnney on the spot with cash and you are good to go........

Other than that you will not find anything painted or even good fro $200,any kit unpainted is in the $450+ range.

Home depot lip is just that a $12 piece of garage trim weatherstripping and looks like ricey crap.........

My car is a DD to and it is far from stock.......dream a bit bigger.......people are not slamming you cause you want to get one for $200 or less, but because you are not listening that you cannot find one for that without time and watching every day.......

I got my 5 Axis kit for $450.......whole kit........paint is $500.......so for under a $1000 nice lip kit.It took me 2 months to save the money to buy the kit and 6 months to save to paint it.........September I finally have my exterior almost done......lol........

IMpulsive buying is not the way to mod a car......and I never understood painting the wheels, they look bad in like 2 months and you have to redo them again........and again........too much work and materials.

I offered more than just an opinion. I told you the best bang for your buck lip kit is most likely OEM and, in response to your $200 budget, I told you to browse through the classifieds and you will probably at some point find something for farily close to what your budget is for..what I gave you was far beyond just an "opinion".
