Also, get Chris to re-airbrush the rig with Burt Wess on it instead of the reaper. hahahaha.
It already creates headlines cause it did it's job. Not much more needs to be done. :D

Are you guys going to do any changes to the wing (i.e. lowering it or making it smaller...etc) or have you already done a bunch of testing to get it at the right spot/right size to provide the most down force?

We will be focusing on a variety of wickers. Different angles & heights. The wing is adjustable in angle right now. To be completely honest with you the first time the car went around the race track under 50% power was this past saturday at the event. We are no where close to dialed in at all. There are so many adjustments built into this car it is going to be fun finding the sweet spot.

as for the front wing i high doubt we will be making the wing smaller. If anything it would get bigger. More area for the air to touch the more downforce is made

So someone mentioned visibility with that thing out there. I don't recall if you answered that one or not. So how much is this blocking from a driver's perspective? If any...

I wouldn't think the blade would obstruct the view, it's probably just the support for it.

if anything, it will act as a sunblock, lol

i dont think it would obstruct view since the bulk of it is well above the roof of the car

If it produces results than more power to you guys. Every bit of performance matters when it comes to things like that.

I applaud the competiveness of the car. but I recall a certain EK Civic in Japan that made silly HP number and was a time attack car. that thing hung with the AWD cars and the only wing it had was on the hatch. it's all about balance. skew that and the whole thing is out of wack. I have seen a vid of 2 S2K's for example, at Tsukuba running close times. one car NA and one turbo. Hp difference was at least a 150HP and the time difference was a couple seconds if that. HKS time attack EVO doesn't/didn't need a wing on it's hood to create downforce.

sorry haters, it's not in english

K3T turbo

Advan RG(17x8.5....15x7)
yokohama AO48 (255/40/17...195/55/15)

track is Central Circuit

and here is proof a Civic can hang

but hey, we all laughed at FWD drag cars with wheelie bars and look what happened.

Chris and peeps were already hanging with and beating many AWD and RWD cars with their previous setup, so you're point is irrelevant. Ty said the goal was to lower times and be even faster, which they did. 5 seconds is a lifetime in racing.

You gave an example of a FWD car that could hang with AWD cars. The reason why that's irrelevant is because Chris and World racing ALREADY had a tC with one wing that was raping a lot of RWD and AWD cars. They held the FWD record at Willow. That navi g been said, they experimented with a front wing and broke their own record, as well as killing even more AWD and RWD cars. No one's saying you need a front wing to hang with those cars, but it can't be disputed that having one WILL give you faster times, and really, what's the point of racing if you're not getting faster?
