hey guys!newbie here from northern california!!

so my BSP 08 tC is almost a month old. i just did my tint today, 5%rear and 35% front.

im planning to drop, and change out my wheels hopefully by july ( i needa put in more hours at work =] )

im looking to change out my A and B pillars to polish black..
n possibly my heads to HIDs...
also, all the orange interior to purple ( i know, such a girl car! lol). =D

but i need other ideas and plenty of online shops i can browse through for pricing and product.

please help me out! thanks so much guys!

you mean the lighting? eh, sure.

Yeah, wheels and drop and your car will look 100% different.

then just little things like debadging, new grills, s2k antenna, maybe a lip spoiler or something, iunno, find what works for you.

also, does anyone have the TC DOOR SILLS on their car? how are they?

i was planning to get some aftermarket...how do you apply them if you guys did yours?

 

the door sills? it's just double sided tape isn't it?

first check the 'Exclusive Sponsored Sales' forum here on SL, there's a ton of shops there that cut you deals for being a member here, so that's a good place to start!

that reminds me of this girl i knew in high school..she was literally obsessed with the color orange. every day... EVERY DAY she had something orange...jacket..hair tie...SOMETHING!

it was pretty crazy.. lol

lmao. i dont go that overboard with the color orange. even though my whole room is orange and i write on orange paper and use orange pens at school.

Too bad I don't have a full pic. For the price, they're a good buy IMHO.

 

my biggest suggestion is start looking at online pictures and if you see something that you like do it, don;t go asking for ideas remember its your car, you're the one driving it and you're the one that must live with the modifications you do.

if you still want ideas here are 2 of them, you could do some black leather seat covers with purple stitching to match the leds if you swap them out, don't do 2 tone seat covers since you may fill the interior with too much color and it will look tacky, also drop the car get some Hotchkis or TRD springs (nice and simple drop not too aggressive).

the best idea ... enjoy your car with the mods YOU like! :D

 

I do a ton of the led swaps, so hit me up at engifineer@gmail.com if you have questions. I will warn you though, that purple leds tend to fade over time unless they are UV.. and UV leds are bad for your eyes over time, so I dont recommend either of those. You can use a type of colored film on the backs of the gauge faces, and possibly on the inside of of the HVAC buttons, to make a purple layout. On the head unit, I am not sure the best way to go about it, but the film may work on those buttons if you use white leds. I havent tried that yet.

The head unit leds arent too bad.. but electronics is my thing, so I have done it a lot For those just venturing into it they will be very tough.

The item on the left is the led for the HVAC and gauges, the next one over is the resistors for the 2005-2006 HVAC, the next is the resistors for the 2007 and up HVAC and the one on the very right is the led for the head unit

 

 

Welcome. You'll get alot of ideas from cars on here. It's best to browse the Flint Mica Cult, or one of the other groups of colors to get some ideas.

I see alot of 17 inch lightweight wheels on performance orientated tC's, but what I think looks best with girls is something along the lines of a 5axis lip kit, 19in wheels. machined lip but instead of black or gunmetal, do like a dark purple or something to go with your theme. Thatd be sick IMO.

Then on the interior, purple suede where applicable, with black leather.

Purple custom CF weave hood and hatch. Projector headlights, tinted Anzo tails. Ooowee.


Not to say girls don't like other types of style, but that right there would be a nice girl-owned tC.
