Alan, have you tried the colored film inside the HVAC buttons yet? I havent really had a job that called for it.. but have been meaning to test it to see how well it works.

Yeah the film works for the HVAC.

 

Its a bit of a drive but Gabe from Precision Mufflers does great spring installs for the tC. His shop is located in Milpitas.

Vinyl or polyurethane? Pros and cons of both that you guys experienced?

I just want black ones not carbon fiber. But it seems like all the ones I seen were carbon fiber or colored vinyl.

I would prefer polyurethane, or that thick plastic material.

I prefer vinyl. Too many horror stories on here of people with the CF eyelids getting torn off by either thieves or just vandals doing it for fun. Either way, your out $80 if they get ripped off. Vinyl ones give the same look, for $15.

Really no reason to buy plastic ones and paint them since you have a BSP. Bluebatmobile.net has a vinyl eyelid that matches your color great. With flakes and all.

 

but how is the quality? Does the vinyl last long?

 

blue bat is the best on quality and product line. Check him out. he has overlays for smoking your tails too.

flakes would have been cool, but I dont mind doing with out. Take approximatly 3 steps back and you cant tell unless your really looking lol. Even upclose they still look sweet so I like em :-)
