Doh! Oh well, thanks for the quick reply. If you don't mind, could you keep my name in case something comes up?

Just curious; How hard would it be to install a full kit?

Hey lummox what part or memphis you stay in? I went to Tennesee Tint the other day and i told them about that site. He said that he is scared of them because he had expirence with those before and he saw a guy that had one. When they were taking it off cuz it started hazing, it took off ALL the paint and was left with the primer.

I also told them about the headlight armor folks, i said that they are interested in that, so if your wanting to do that we got a installer in Memphis.

I'm in East Memphis, but I can go anywhere. Let me know who your installer is so I can give him a holler.

Bummer about the paint issue. I'd only heard good things. Hopefully, it was just an anomaly.

Thanks for the help, everyone.

Let me try and clear that issue up with the paint.

First if the car has been repainted and not properly prepared, cured and all that good stuff. There will be issues for sure. Also if the installer or person does not kno whow to take it off the car there can and prolly be problems as well.

As for the hazing, I dont see that as an issue unless people have done something to cause it to happen or they never wash and wax there vehicle. It has a clear coat finish on the film so wax it as often as you want, just like you do with the rest of your car.

AS for the light kits there is no need to pay someone to install them for you unless you are just not any good with your hands. Each of our kits comes with instructions and tools for a proper installation.

Let me know if we can help with anything else.

Good info to know, and thank you. I have a clear bra on my present car that was professionally installed (I lived somewhere else then) and I think it's great. No hazing or anything. I'm trying to get an RS3 right now and would like to make sure that I get everything installed as quickly as possible.

How hard is the whole kit to install? Doable by a newbie?
