Default !!CONFUSED WITH TAILIGHTS!!

so ive been looking at some pics of ppls tc and noticed that some of them have their tailights tinted...which looks AWESOME!!
im would love to tint mine as well BUT am confused about which is the best process.
ive been reading that some ppl paint their tailights and others actually tint theirs with the same tint they use for the windows.
any suggestions on which would be best and how dark?
also...what do u guys think about having blue tailights on a blue flint mica tc?

I actually painted my TYC tails with Vans Lens Paint. I knew that if I screwed up the TYCs, I still had my stocks. So if you don't mind painting them, then go with the VHT Nightshades Paint. It will give you the best look IMHO. (Unless you have EXTREME PATIENCE with the overlay process.) About the blue tail lights; instant pullover from the cops. I believe your tails mostly have to be red but can have white and/or yellow or clear accents. Check your state laws where you live.

I thought if they were like, SUPER smoked out you get a ticket.

How about a minor overlay?

One that ISN'T so dark, just adds a little shading.

more or less ... cops will pull you for just about anything here that they want. but i say keep the patience and go with the overlays because at least you know you can take them off later if you so decide to change them, and imo i think they are easier to install simply cause you can go back and sort of redo them alot easier than if you were to use night shades. and about the blue... id keep with the red to be safe.

the best option IMO is...
www.jonstintedtails.com

The quality is amazing, much better then nightshades or overlays.

Thats a risk I am willing to take! I still have the stock ones so when I do get pulled over I can swap them out.
