Default Cost of Inst. 4 Verticle Doors

I been having my JT Auto Style doors for a few weeks and Ive been trying to find somewheres to get them installed. So I found a place today and they want to charge me $1000 for installation. Is this a normal price for this install or am I getting ripped off? Please help me out.

Really, Cus I dont know how much stuff like that should cost. I messed up when I was talking to him, he asked how much I was willing to spend and thats the price I gave him and he said ok, So I was wondering if thats what people really charge or if its cheaper and hes going by 1000 because thats what I said. I appreciate all the help I can get.

from the prices I have seen, it is around $2,000 dollars. I am not speaking with experience though since I have never had it done. There are a few people in this site with vertical doors that should know who will help you out as soon as they see this thread. IMO though, that is a good price.

It's a tad bit too expensive IMHO.... it's about 6-7 hours of labor... so aim for for around the 600-800 dollar mark... It's technically not hard at all.... I did it myself in about 8 hours...

do you already have the vertical door hinges? Because that is the expensive part. Those are usually around $1,500 and then the installation is probably $600-800.

Oh yeah.... so does he... so count on ~850 for the hinges and at least 600 for install... if you don't do it yourself, like me

Thanks for the replies, I havent been by a computer in a while. I do have the hings already, JT Auto Style Hinges. Im just looking for the installation cost. If it is normally close to 800-1000 for installtion then thats cool. I just wanted to make sure that I wasnt gettin ripped off by this guy. An more input?

My buddy and I installed my kit in his garage. We did the drivers side in about 2 hours, then the passenger side took about 45 minutes. A lot easier the second time.

I would do it yourself with a buddy and save a lot of money. it looks harder then it really is!
