Default Could adding on a CF lip spoiler be a bad idea???

I've been looking for a nice lip spoiler for my FM TC. Ebay has a bunch of them, but most of the lips are mad of CF. I'm afraid if I mount a CF lip on my FM TC, I'll one day come up to my car's trunk and see nasty screwdriver gouges and dents, a lot of gooey double stick tape and no CF spoiler in sight. I really think CF could be a theif magnet. I am also afraid that the CF's blingyness might make the car too boy racer. But being that CF looks close to the FM color, maybe it might look pretty good.
There's a nice looking polyurethatne Universal M3 type lip spoiler being sold in eBay, which is nice and cheap at around 60 bucks, but damitol!!! even after a bunch of email questions through ebay that I sent to the guy, I can't get any details from the seller on it! I actually like something smaller like the M3's spoiler on my TC.
Am I doomed to just coough up the 380 bucks for the pre-painted OEM from the dealerships??

I think youve pretty much answered your questions. Go with what you feel is right and looks good. In my honest opinion I think CF on any car except a true race car is a bad idea. Please dont do it.
