Default Crack in front lip....is it repairable??

i have the OEM lipkit and I managed to get a hairline crack in my front lip, what would be the best way if at all to repair this in hopes of preventing it to crack in that same spot again?

it can probably be fixed, but most likely will be cheaper just to replace the lip.

Well the stock lip is polyurathane so using fiberglass is not gonna work very well as it will jsut fall off in a matter of time.

First you have to sand the area clean, then take a small drill bit and drill into the end of the crack to make a stop point so it goes no farther.........if you do not even if you fix it it will crack in future.

Next you need to get 3M or other brand polyurathane repair kit,it has a patch that goes on the back of piece, like a big sticky tape.

Next you need to apply adhesion promotor and use the poly repair and let dry and sand smooth and repeat till it is smooth, then prime and paint.

the poly materials are spendy,it can be asmuch as $100 in materials depending on the damage.

Yea Ill try to get a pic up soon. I have a buddy who is pretty good with body work so getting the thing completely prepped and ready for paint would be pretty much free, ill just buy supplies and smoke a blunt and hed be satisfied. Also a guy I work with has the tools to paint it, I would just have to buy the paint.
