I just a new 07 tc only has 7k mile on it. My dad crack the windshield after he burrow my car to go fishing. Anyone know if it covered by the warantee or how much toyota would charge for it to be replace? Thx

 

not a warranty issue, but call your insurance it maybe covered

 

Why would TOYO fix your windsheild for free for something you broke. lol

 

Unless you tell them that due to the inferior strength of the windshield, it cracked when you turned on the amazing stock system too loud.

 

check to see if you have full glass coverage on your insurance policy. if you do, its covered at no charge ($0 deductable).

 

If your car insurance doesn't cover it check with your local dealer on who they have to replace glass for there used car's. I know in the Chicago area a lot of us use outside companies on used cars because they are real reasonable.

OEM windshield is freaking expensive $800, i got an aftermarket one for $220 installed and it looks great.

 

whats that dad? you want to borrow my new car to go down to the pond with buckets full of live bait and bring it back full of slimy, smelly dead fish as well as your now muddy and funky fishing gear?

haha yeah, that is when i'd tell him to BURROW himself.

 

ya insurance will even cover it if its a small crack for 0. they want you to be able to see out.
