Default Custom Fogs

spent saturday workin on them, whattya think?

i hate that i had to get fog lights with blue lenses, i think they look cheap. But they were all i could find at a good price in a small enough size. I have yellow bulbs that hopefully show up tonite i will put in em, so they will be intense yellow. But for now this gives you the basic idea. I might tint the lense or something so its less blue.

Oh and here's the link to my flickr set with all the pics of the project, if your into that sort of thing.

Looks nice. You should fill in the space around the fogs with something. That would look much cleaner. You could probably get some styrofoam to prototype it and make sure it looks good. Then get maybe MDF and use the styrofoam as a template to cut out the MDF. You could even go further and fiberglass it. Then get that all painted to match your car and you got a nice clean looking set of fogs.

I may take it that far. I may not. One of the problems with these foglights is that the housings get crazy hot, so i didnt really want anything touching the housing if i could avoid it. Right now they are just hanging out the open air, not melting anything. Ill stare at em for a few days and see how i feel about it. Im pretty much a perfectionist, so if i can't stand it, i will do something about it until it looks just right.[/list]

haha, thats exactly why i have it in, because its silly. same reason i have a deer sticker in my back window. i don't hunt. its there because i get a little laugh out of people always asking, "why is there a deer in your back window?"

got the yellow bulbs put in tonite. it was nearly a pain, i tried one side with taking as little apart as possible. it was a huge pain, so for the other side i just took the whole stinkin front bumper off again, way easier. ive had the bumper off on that car like 10 times now, im gettin real good at it.
