I imagine the cost for the aluminum stock alone would be pretty steep, not to mention the man hours spent inputing the model for a normally flexible item. You'd have a hell of a time getting it on the car, since you need a decent amount of give in any body part to fit it on the car, I.e. why panels, bumpers and lips are fabed from abs, urathane, fiberglass, CF. They all have the nesassary give needed to fit them to the car.

Man.... I'll def. be watching this thread... when I come up with a design I want... I'll certainly have you do some custom ones up for me.

Thanks for putting that talent out there for the rest of us.

I think it would be cool for make center rim caps with the scion racing logo in it.

I already have a radiatoer panel but this would be pretty cool with some custom work.

YES! The material finally showed up Friday evening. I should be able to get the turbonetics garnish and possibly the autobot caps made this weekend. I'll post pics of any new stuff.

Can you post a pic/link to the logo?

No problem Mouse, I'm having fun with it.

If only I could find someone who wants to swap custom machined (fill in the blank) for a forced induction hook up.....

Good to hear your stock came in, just let me know how you'd like me to pay you for the autobot centercaps and Hood badge. I'd like them to take a spin in the walnut shells or whatever method you use to smooth them down first. A few coats of clear and they'll look real nice on my xd. I can't install a Turbo kit for you, but I can colorswap your cluster and needles if you'd like. Ill even do two tone for you.

Sorry for the lack of updates, I had some "real" work orders come in and they take priority. As soon as I knock these out i will have some free machine time to make the badges and center caps.

cheers.

You know what they say, when rains... well its been raining work like crazy. The machining center has been booked for several weeks now.

I haven't forgotten about ya cobalt! I have the material and everything I need to make the caps and new emblems, just need some free time for fun stuff...

I post pics of any progress on the caps/emblems
