Stick to the time table and you'll be fine. If you wanna open up your headlights, baking is the only way. Well i suppose you could go to town with a knife but that can lead to very bad things

 

Thats what I thought as well. But seriously nothing even was remotely even soft [plastic pieces] Nothing seemed to be in danger of breaking or anything.

I can understand the hesitation but there's really nothing to worry about. I'm going to try it on my rear view mirrors soon hopefully.
