Thumbs down DashZRacing negative experience

I thought I would post and let you all know about my experience I had with DashZRacing and some tC headlights I purchased from them...

(yes, I'm that ____ed that I bought the domains -- also to hopefully prevent anyone else from having the same experience I did)

Sorry to hear what you had happen to you with the headlights.
The comment/claim they made about the true Toyota OEM factory headlight assemblies is completely unfounded and just not true. I live in CO and we have pretty dramatic temp. changes throughout the year, and all kinds of weather. I've personally never seen ANY issues with the construction of the OEM parts. They're just trying to cloud the true issue with BS.
I would think that you have a case against them legally if it ever came to that in order to resolve the issue. Especially due to the fact that the company selling the parts already had prior knowledge of potential problems. In the same manner that a company is legally obligated to inform a buyer PRIOR to a sale of parts that are only intended for RACE purposes (hence not being street legal) because that is the ONLY thing that releases them from liability if a buyer ignores the mandated warning and uses the parts on a vehicle used on public roads because the selling company properly advised buyers PRIOR to the sale..... If a company does NOT make that information known prior to the sale, then they can be held liable for false advertisement/lack of full disclosure. At the very least their actions were extremely poor business practices.
Hope you get a good resolution.

Thanks and EXACTLY. I live in Seattle! Want to talk about climate and rain. Obviously my body shop lives here too and would have (and did) seal the lights as best as they could. The fact that the passenger one remains sealed is an indication of that. The drivers one is DEFECTIVE in MANUFACTURING and must have a hairline leak somewhere. The thing that really is stupid is DashZRacing is going to get all this bad press over what, a $50 light (their cost)? I don't think I'm being unreasonable in asking them to replace one of the two defective lights. Well, we'll see how it shakes out. They've not contacted me since I put up the site, so I doubt they will make it right. I'm not sure what I'm going to do -- live with the condensation issue or put the stock lights back in or what yet...

This.

While the guy may be pulling your leg with the OEM headlights fogging up (they obviously don't)... anyone here could have told you those "JDM" ones are pure garbage. Whether you buy them from eBay or some other site online. They're nothing but junk.

If they didn't fog up on you, the LEDs tend to blow out after a very short amount of time as well.

So while this particular shop may not have given you the best experience, it's hard to blame them too much for you not doing your research on a terrible product.
