Default Dealer Installed pedestal spoiler - scratch...

Today I brought my car into the dealer to have the pedestal spoiler installed. When I brought it home, I noticed a thin strach about 4inches long on the top driver's side of the spoiler. It's hair thin, but still definitely visible. Should I bring it back to the dealer to fix/replace or am i just nitpicking?

if it was mine, i'd bring it back. you paid good money for it, you shouldn't have to deal with this ****.

IF i were you i would take it back. But they might ask for proof they it wasnt there before you took it in. So if you have any photos of the car before i would show them those. But still....you could try but more then likley they wont do anything about it. Just try buffing it out or using scratch X or something.

That's why I and i am sure everyone else strongly recommened doing a once over on your car before you leave that parking lot. Just in case you see anything IE: Scratch you could tell them before you leave, and not making it more feasible that the scratch happened after you left the dealer.

Hope that helps.

Well I brought the car back to the service center today and they took a look at it. The guy said that it wasn't even a stratch, it was a defect in the fiberglass. So they ordered a new part for me, should be here in a few days. The service assistant girl was extremely helpful. I was very impressed.

No, mine doesn't rattle at all. I just went outside and tried seeing if it was loose at all, and it seems to be on there really tight. Maybe that's something you should have looked at too.
