Hey guys. I have an 08 TC, just noticed my low beams arent coming on, took out the hid's and put in regular halogens, still nothing. Then I realized my tail lights aren't working. My brake lights and 3rd brake light light up, but no running/tail lights, or low beams. I have new Anzo tails and stock headlights. Any ideas? Thanks

 

Check your fuses.

 

I did :/ Wish I knew what else, or maybe exactly what fuses to check. I checked all the ones under the steering wheel.

 

Did you check the ones under the hood? I think that's where the fuses for the exterior lights are.

I did check some under the hood. Just can't pinpoint which one it is. Everything I found looks fine. Ughhh. Suckssss.

 

My license plate lights wont work either. So frustratingggg.

 

Make sure you wired everything correctly.

 

Maybe there is a short somewhere.

 

lol, what is there to wire? and my car is a 2008, Garage kept. Rarely drive it. It's not a DD, Cant see how there would be a short being that my garage is SOO clean.

 

When did your problems start?

HID install?

Anzo Tail light install?

Interior Dome Lights working?

 

I thought you changed your lights? I guess I read wrong but I thought you said now have Anzo tails and I'm sure there is some wiring involved in connecting them but I guess not.

 

Fuses, battery, alternator.

 

HID's have been in, The Anzo's have been in also. Dome lights work. High beams work. Now my low beams are working. Just tails and licence plate lights.!



I have anzo's. I didn't haveto wire them in as they are plug & play.

 

reset the battery and double check all the fuses in the engine bay and under the steering wheel, also check the tail ilght connections to make sure they're all connected tightly..

do the interior lights turn on when you turn the switch?

 

Check both Tail light fuses under the steering wheel.
#9 10A fuse Stop/Brake Light, Also make sure it's in the right slot #9
#16 10A fuse Tail/Running Light

 

What do you mean? If I turn the dome light switch on do the dome lights come on? Yes they do.


I'll check them again but i'm pretty sure I already did.

 

^ i mean if you turn on the switch to turn on your lowbeams if the dash lights and all the other ones in the hvac and sterio come on? do you know if your city/parking lights come on too??

 

so you said you already had the Anzos and HID's installed and they were all working fine (lowbeams and all lights) and then they stopped working? also, your turn signals work fine too right?

 

Blinkers work, High/Low beams work. Brake lights work. The dash lights come, radio lights up. I took my hids out as I had my headlights out did alot of work to the car, towed it from one shop to the next. They were working at the first shop, now they dont work. Ughh So frustrating.
