Everybody on this board is worth helping because were all on this forum for the same reason.

TCpete maybe u dont want to help some people out but I'm glad to help anybody.

Anyways you make it sound like the grill is the only thing thats on the site. If you could care less then dont argue with everybody on this thread.

 

i use to like helping EVERYONE out until my ideas, help, and advice were either stolen, flammed or miscredited... its sad fellow scion owners have to rip on others just to get ahead.. which is why i dont like helping others any more. sad IMO but its your business on the line.

no im not.. but i dont see alot of other tc's doing what im doing and actually making power... but go figure how my PM box is always full of ?'s and ppl asking for help.. i mean what would i know about motors i hand built mines.

 

if Delta came out with this oem debadged grill first, eveyone would be flamming them for how easy it is to do, how expensive for a 30 minute project, you don't have to buy this you can do it yourself, etc. People want to buy things, not make them themselves. Look at fast food, t.v. dinners, we live in a land of laziness. Delta are just taking the grill to market, when no one else would. This is supposed to encourage us to keep on with the DIY.

 

I have to say anyone who is supporting this stupid ___ company Delta is by the stupidest person alive. Bads33d made the DIY guide to help us with a simple mod, and Delta has to decide and take it away. I agree with what TCpete and Bads33d and ilovemytc have said. They're completely right about this whole scenario. The DIY wasn't copyrighted because it was for us scionlife members who would like to do a little something something for our cars and yeah it costed a little work, but anything productive does. Even if you didn't want to do the cutting yourself of the grill, Bads33d was even willing to help you do it.

Those of you who are supporting this low-life company are basically saying ____ the guy who took his time and efforts to help, will go with the bastard would decided to steal his idea. Think about what you guys just did, and to the Company to hell with you ____ing copycats.

And no this grill that BADs33d designed is not a "copycat" its pure legit because there is no actual grill sold like this. But of course you wouldn't understand that too well now would you.

Also, before you started b!tching about someone stealing your idea and flaming his company, did you even bother to contact him privately about this matter? All this might have been avoided if you two talked it out man to man instead of whining in a public forum.

The guy that posted the original Thread is not the only guy in the WORLD that did this grill; there are a lot of other people before him that did it. IF DELTA got the permission for the pics then all of you CANT say crap about him he got the permission to use the pics. If he gets permission from Scion to sell Scion then he is gonna sell SCIONS that’s life as long as you got permission your fine your NOT STEALING YOU ARE ASKING IF U CAN USE The item. What a waste of my time reading this tripe!

I hear a lot of people talking about how bad scionlife has become. I see more people whinning and flaming then doing anything useful to help.

Whether someone thinks delta is shady or not, he is just trying to seel products. I dont know him, havent bought from him, or what ever. Its his business he can market whatever he wants. In fact, he can turn the whole diy section into products he can sell. The truth is, a lot of tc's are owned by all sorts of different people, young guys, old guys, chicks. Not everyone wants to mess with modding their car themselves.
