Default do side vent grilles screw up aerodynamics?

Does the wind rushing through the side vents if you add a grille and open them up change the way the car drives or handles at high speeds at all?

Also, does it add any benefit to a full CAI?

It won't affect it in any way that you could possibly feel while driving.

Although after this someone will post "Dude, I cut a hole in my bumper and now my CAI puts out like 50 more horsepower!!" Don't listen to them, they have Vin Diesel posters and subwoofers that look like fake NOS tanks.
