Default Projector headlight w/ HID

Does anyone have these headlights w/ HID bulbs. One of the ebay listing says it is not HID compatible. Has anyone had a problem with this.

To put it simply, lots of people have them, their crap.

They arent made for HIDs, your gonna get a crappy cutoff and still get glare.
The LEDs burn out in a month or 2
They look cheap, like something you expect on a Honda

The light output on them is OK, not perfect. I have had mine for about 3 months now and have not experienced any problems with them. I get blinded by glare from Infiniti and BMW projectors every night. I have yet to be flashed for blinding anyone and I have asked numerous other driviers if my lights blind them.

You can put HIDs in them, but Anzo doesn't recommend anything over 4300k.

no way they can unless you stare into them or your under the cutoff which i doubt. trust me, there is no glare from OEM projectors/HIDs

that is not true some oem projectors have glare.
and as far as these headlights are concerned they are one of the better looking ones aftermarket. keep in mind your leds will not last. but also keep in mind if you go with HID's from the get go your leds might actually make it since hid's run much lower temps then halogens. the only reasons the leds is most of the headlights go out is due to temperature. electronics dont like heat.

I am lowered on TRD springs. Maybe I am below the cutoff. I doubt it, but if I am then the cutoff is adjusted way too high.

Yes the LEDs burn out but that can always be fixed with an overlay. Personally I think it looks better without the LEDs showing.

Buy them if YOU like them. If you end up not liking them install your old headlights and sell the anzos. I love mine! The only thing I don't like is the visibility at night.

8000k

how much it lights up the road

I have to agree with him. But the ones that really blind me is the new cadillac escalades. It's like they have no cutoffs what so ever.

What brand HID kit is that? Do you still have the rubber cups attached to the back of the headlight with your HIDs?

You can't really expect much of an output from 8000K. Kit sellers always try to sell the idea that BMW and the rest use 8000K, but the reality is that they all use 4300K (85122) or 5000K (85122+).

Vehicles with HID are leveled to the same height as their headlights. So the higher they are, the higher the cutoffs will be.

About BMW and Infiniti blinding people. HIDs cutoffs expand as it goes out far. Also, the slightest incline those BMW or infinity have, it raises the cutoffs height significantly at the far end. Off course you'll expose to the high intensity of the beams, but can you say that the lights blind you when you're 100 ft from the car? that's the point of the cutoffs, so that it doesn't blind opposite traffic at close distance. Halogen lights have the same impact at a city block distance. HID would have to literally pointed at the ground if you wants to avoid full exposure at far distance, which defeats the whole purpose of having HID.

I was asking because I heard that if you remove those rubber cups there is the possibilty of condensation.
