Default Does this sound good?

Ok so i went to a shop around here and they told me they would shave the "scion" logo, paint the interior (center consol and gauge cluster)(flint mica) all for $200. is that good or should i go else where. now before you say just do the interior yourself. i have.... twice lol neither time i was happy with the outcome and i want to get it professionally done to match the car. is $200 too much? or about right?

I think the shaving of the back emblem would cost the most b/c they have to remove it, fill the hole and THEN paint it.

I don't know... I haven't had any body work done, IMO it sounds high, but it might not be bad for having both parts done.

I think its not that bad. I hope they do an excellent job and don't break anything. Good luck.

To be guaranteed that its going to look good because its getting professionally done, I would pay around $200.00.

that's not high at all, it's actually pretty low. I know i got a quote for just the center console for like 250....and that's from a friend. It might be the paint color though...he said most of it was paint cost :\

ok cool, thanks guys, only reason why i asked was because this is the same place that wanted to charge me $150 for my pully install. and that is a steep price (they said it was that high because you need a special tool to take the pully off)

200 for the center consol and shaved scion emblem on the back is an AWESOME deal. just make sure when you get it back the color is EXACT. because tC colors are hard to match. i did my emblem myself (i work in a body shop) and FM is a pain in the butt to match. but yeah 200 is an awesome deal i say go for it as long as they get the color right

center console...you can paint it yourself also...save probably round...160 bucks or a lil more...haha...prob only 20 bucks really...paint...tape...paper...plastic

I got a quote for the shaved rear emblem for 150 and he said it was only that much because the paint is so exspensive. He felt bad because you can only purchase the paint in certain sizes and he said that I would have about half left over.

So for 200 you are getting a good price for the two!!!

paint expencive my ___....they only have to mix up the minimum wich is normally around 3 grams....they are feeding you a line there man. its 150-200 because of the filling of where the emblem was...tahts the time consuming part. fill it with either plastic or fusor (super duper glue) then shvae it/sand it flat, prime it, sand it, paint it. them saying its that much because of paint is sheer BS
