I have done 3 solo spring installs...and assisted in 5 other installs...
I got it down to 3-4 hours ..using just hand tools!...No airtools
i know for sure there was no way mine weren't going on without a spring compressor...
and i didn't want to shoot some bolt into the wilderness never to be seen again when removing the stock ones...

why would you not use a spring compressor????!!
Ive done 6 installs by myself on the tc alone, my last one being this last saturday, took me 2.5 hours to do it. AND I used spring compressors, theres no other way I would do this, ud be stupid not to use them

Do it yourself man, here is a brief break down.
- remove your windshield cowl, wheels, and trunk interior panels so you can access the strut bolts.
- jack the car up and place on jack stands
- remove the struts
- remove the spring from the strut (you can use a spring compressor if you wish... there are other ways of doing it to not use it, but to cover my **** from something hurting themself and saying i told them to do it, ill refrain from posting it)
- compress the new spring via spring compressors and put them on the strut
- reinstall everything
i let out stuff... but thats the basic idea. do it yourself man, its pretty cake.
