Evo 8 Hid Retro
Well i did a search and didn't find anything so here it is folks, I think I'm the first to retro in a set of Evo 8 projectors. I mounted them in a way that i really didn't need to use a shroud since the projector is naturally sealed, that way i still have use of the city light, i also painted over the amber side markers since i was not a fan of them. No night pictures yet but ill get them up later tonight i hope.

With the city light on thats the yellow on the bottom of the projector, you really cant see it well in the day but at night it looks really sharp

The HID's warming up

Just some other random pics

I set the projector as far forward as i could not only cause its a massive projector but also so i lose as little output as i possibly could

Random Ones

yeah i have them up late tonight so you don't need to worry
and yes the ebay projectors are pathetic compared to factory equipped HID projectors and using HID in the reflector housing is just plain Silly and a waste of money.

I don't care for the way they look. They look like they have been added on and it gives the car a droopy eye look. Like you would pull down the outer edges of your eyes to make a funny face. So my question is, who is gonna do the Q45 7 lense conversion? I have seen it on a IS300(was an Altezza actually) which has a similar headlight design. Now that was cool and the only way I would do it. The lense will fill up the entire lo-beam opening. So there's my $5 worth of suggetions. Any takers?
