This picture is taken from maximus96's HID retrofitting thread and i was wondering if anyone has tried to either paint, or replace this piece of the headlight to made an eyelid - im not a fan of stickers, but would love the cleaned up look...

its just a piece of plastic and shouldn't have problems with painting. and since its inside the front plastic lens, it's protected from the elements.

 

I thought about painting that piece BSP to match my car (Since I have some mixed currently) when I do my Umnitza install this weekend, but textured plastic is finnicky... and I'm cautious about screwing it up, cause I'd probably have to buy a whole new assembly. I'm thinking that the chrome look really gives them a nice appeal. I'm going back and forth about overlays for eyelids, but I'm just not made up my mind
