Default Factory Fog Lights...errr!

I was smart enough not to buy my new TC with the fog lights. ( if you did I am sorry) but the cost and labor price was unbelievable. I plan on buying them from either mcgeorgeparts.com or trdsparks.com, and still they are at a staggering $322.00. ON to my point and question, does anyone know of a junk yard or auto salvage place that may have these off a wreaked TC? Hit me up with a link or some ideas.

Honestly don't know if they're really OEM though.

Checked ebay. Some are factory, but they are still in the 300+ range. Where as most on ebay are aftermarket. This I want to stay away from due to trying to keep my car as close to factory as possible due to warranty and still have the ability to have re-sell value. I might just have to bite the bullet and pay the $322.00, which is the cheapest I have seen the actual factory fogs.

My tC already had the fogs installed on it. Yeah Scion accessories are a tad bit on the expensive side. But save $$ and then it should b ok.

Why would you want those hideous things anyway? There are much cooler aftermarket fogs available for a fraction of a fraction of the price.

Cooler? That's your highly subjective opinion. All I know is that my OEM fogs are covered by my platinum warranty (7 year, 100,000 mile), and that's all that matters. I gladly paid the $322 for the OEM kit.

i got the fogs with my tc. it's $425 for the part. since they don't charge labor when you get it put on at port 425 is all i paid. yes, that's expensive, but atleast it should be installed correctly by scion ppl.

isn't that the price for everyone's fogs at the dealer?

According to my window sticker (yes, I still got it) my factory fogs were only $220. I at first hated the placement, but after awhile it grows on you. My service advisor is a really cool guy. I give him outstanding ratings and he hooks me up. He is offering me the TRD springs and shocks installed on car...plus alignment at $650 out the door.

Its called matter of opinion, I happen to like the OEM ones MUCH better than the aftermarket ones. Especially those tiny little things that some buy at the local auto-hole stores. The only ones I like close are the ones people snag from the Lexus.. but I still like the center mounted OEM's better. I am pretty sure they were less than $300 when I got my car, seems like I paid around $250 for them.. but I would have to check it has been a while. All of my options were dealer installed after the car came from port and no labor was charged.. just the cost of the option.

Jeeze maybe I should have put one of these at the end "IMHO" I usually do. But that's all I was sharing, my humble opinion. IMHO, everytime I see a tC coming down the road with those big rally lights, it makes me think, "What a waste of money and precious grille space", again IMHO. Also IMHO, A set of projector foglights in the fake air damns is much sexyer and provides a ton more light and ground coverage, not to mention nice coolor flickering while driving, IMHO. However, this is just IMHO.

Thanks for all the feed back. I will have to say that I to want the OEM's for the warranty and the look. Does anyone who has the OEM's also have a pic of the interior switch? I am looking to see if I can get them on ebay for cheaper but want to make sure that I am buying the real deal, not some make shift verison. It seems that only the switch and wiring is the way to tell whether they are or aren't oem.

These look like them

Dr_Isotope......Thanks!!
So it looks like the set on ebay, (the link in my previous post) is actually an OEM kit. It is a "buy it now" for $151.30 and $24.99 to ship. I am sold. In case anyone else is interested the link in above, and this is the cheapest price I have seen so far.
