Figure Grille - Install Help
I just bought the Figure Grille in powder coated gloss black and I'm having trouble installing it. Do I use the preexisting tabs, or do I need to figure out some other way of affixing the grille?
Thanks
Thanks
did you read the instructions that came with them? you have to drill holes on your bumper along the edge of where the grill would be and you use the zip ties that came with it to hold them in place. the pdf is available online if you didn't get instructions with them.
yeah and if I were you I would drill a hole in each tab, find some more zip tie's if you need too, that way you have a nice and secure grill, although six will be plenty since they are pretty light. One tip, put each ziptie into place first before snugging them down. Enjoy! :D
If you drill holes in the tabs itll set back to far! (My opinion) You can still drill in 1st quarter inch of bumber and will not be seen if oem grille reinstalled! I recommend drilling more than just four, I would put two on top, two on bottom, ans one in each side! (same with lower portion). Reason for that is after while the zip tie plastic will dry up and evetually break! If you can take bumper off, that will greatly assist you. I did mine in about an hour! And yes dont secure zip ties until and are set in place, that'll ensure its not all crooked. Hope that helps!
Good Luck!
Good Luck!
The grille went in last night and looks great! I just got my fog light in from mcgeorge now, so I'm going to do that tomorrow probably, along with the lower grille. I'm having a friend help me with the BlueBat vinyls on Wed. Then, I'll clean it up and take pics for all to enjoy
