Default Finally got the underbody to work

Well after a days worth of head aches. two relays. ghetto rigging, and constant checking of guides on SL. I finally got it to work. Got my under body to turn on when unlocking the car or when the doors open.

Still got a few kinks to work out with it but it doesn't work too bad.

Yup. its wired into the dome light so what ever the dome lights do the underbody does. I didn't want them to flash, Making them flash would actually be a lot easier but I wanted them to stay on

you sure it's not drawing too much power through the dome light? That could be bad in the future.

you should try tapping the GROUND on the domes.. it'll give it a nice fade in and fade out effect..

yeah, wiring to the dome light is the way to do it, i've had it done on my car, but it was attracting unwanted attention so i took it out.

^^ sort of. Its wired into the middle dome light. So if you turn the middle dome on it'll turn the underbody on, but the two sides don't turn it on. It doesn't actually draw power from the dome lights, it draws power from the batter but turns on w/dome via relay.

I wired it up to the dome light negative at first and it didn't work. and the reason it doesn't have the fade effect is because I took it out with a second relay. didn't want my cathodes to be fading in and out. Its bad for them.
