Default Fixup Bumper or Buy New One?

I put in two VERY deep scratches into my rear bumper, scratched it in numerous spots, put about 4 dime size dents into it and to fix it up, they quoted me at $500. So wouldn't it be better just to buy a new rear bumper (not painted, less than $200) than trying to fix it up? I'm going to go around more and see what other body shops are quoting me for. If you are curious to what happened, I simply backed up into a fence (shows how cheap the paint and body is. I was backing out at 2mph.) I think my best chance would be just to order a new rear bumper than having someone spend like 2 days on my car sanding it down, filling it in, and painting it AND a possibility of blending the bumper in along with the rest of the car. I had it buffed out for $65 (or what they can buff out) but that didn't do anything to it. I went to mcgeorgeparts.com and found a rear bumper for $155 plus about $15 for shipping. Then I have to take it somewhere for it to be painted. Is there any websites that will sell the OEM rear bumper painted? So what do you think my best choice would be? Thanks.
