Default foam padding

ok so i have a question reguarding the foam behind the front bumper is it ok to not have it cause i want to do a custom front grill and was curious if this was vital to the airbags, or anything thanks

It's okay to remove it, as those with FMICs run without it as well... it's just to theoretically prevent damage from minor fender benders.

it protects you when you get in accidents.. basically it is supposed to absorb the collision.. so i wouldnt remove it

Every Collision I've seen has just obliterated the foam, and damage resulted anyways... I think it's just for those minor "bumps" to support your front bumper and prevent it from collapsing... in any large collision... it's poof, and gone... no crazy "Safety" reason to have it... just saves you a few bills if you bump your front bumper into something.

Super Expensive for a lip kit, IMHO... you still have to get it primed and painted... more $'s result there too... you can get a full body kit for that price, rather than just a stick on lip kit.

It's a front piece you tape on, new side skirts, and a rear piece you tape on... you can see the seperate parts in the individual breakdown...

they call the "underspoilers"

It's what we call a "lip kit"

Considering the OEM lip kit is about that much... I relate... (At least the lip kit from toyota comes painted though)
