This past saturday my friend had his fog lights and alarm installed in his tC. He just told me that everytime he steps on the gas the fog lights shut off. Then when he lets off the gas they turn back on...??? I can't think of whats causing the problem since I didn't do the install or get a chance to look at it. It only happens when the car is in drive(automatic trans). Thanks for the help diagnosing...

obviously something was put in wrong..

 

i think the dealership, it has to be one of the wires i just don't know which one would cause it to cut off when the gas pedal is applied...

 

i dunno either... which dealership? should bring it back and have them fix it.

Universal?

OEM?

VRD?

so, when you turn the low beam on, the fog turns on, and when high beam, the fog turns off, right?

if not, then the dealer re-wired it.
