I purchased a set of ebay fogs and after about a month of having them on both lenses craked , so i would definently advise you to purchase the real deal! Try mcgeorgeparts they're pretty good.

 

Yep, I have the OEM units and have replaced them both already, so I definitely wouldnt go cheap on them. They are in a spot where they will get contact with rocks. When the second one broke, I applied rockblocker to them, which hopefully will help some to reduce the effects of sharp edges on objects hitting them. I have pics in my profile of my IIP with the OEM fogs and llc grills if you want an idea of how they look.

 

I have the OEM's for over 2 yrs and have had no problems with them. Make sure that the ebay ones have the switch and wiring harness

 

It really isnt an issue with them, just unlucky rocks for me Two shots from rocks took two of them out at different times
