I took off my front bumper to put on a new grill. never really checked before but when i put the bumber back on it was able to move up and down a little like a little loose is this normal. thanks

 

My front bumper doesn't really sit right ever since the first time I took it off.

 

define "a little loose"...

 

X2, mine is a lil loose where the fender meets the bumper. it doesnt sit IN like it used too ever since i removed it.

Lulz, that's not gonna make any difference. There is only one way to remove and replace the bumper, and doing so will guarantee a different fitment afterwards. It doesn't matter who you get to do it.

Besides, you can replace the grilles without removing the bumper. I did.

i have the oem lip kit though

 

to remove the lower one all you have to do is remove the 2 plastic covers from the bottom and pop out the grill but becareful not to break or bend those clips that hold it or else it'll be loose. yeah ever since i removed my bumper it's off by a little from the fender and wheel well

 

i think the dealer took my bumper off back in the day to install a 06 trd cai for my 07 tc.....
but its doesnt seem loose...

 

You know... I cannot find these damn covers on the '08. Care to elaborate?

 

oh, hes talking about the black undercarriage covers that protect the bottom from rocks (they are in two peices)

 

I removed my front grill took me a lil while to take it off and even longer to put it back on, tightened up the bolts, made sure it snapped in, and its not loose at all I was actually worried about it becoming loose so I checked it before, and its on there just like it was

 

^^yeah those covers, i took them off and haven't put them back on cause i have my LED's tied up to the radiator bracket. i believe it's like 5 screws around the bumper, and 4 of those pop out bolt type things.
